Rembrandt’s Station available for preorder – plus a giveaway!

Rembrandt’s Station, the first new Tolari Space novel since 2015 is now available for preorder!  Official launch date is January 5, 2023, with an online launch party on Saturday, January 7. Stay tuned for details!

This book was a real surprise for me in some ways.  Ever since Bertie appeared in The Fall, he’s been demanding his own story – and last year, he started invading my dreams to insist.  This is the result.

Stationmaster and exiled aristocrat Albert St. John Rembrandt—Bertie to his friends—is in love with a Tolari ruler he believes he can’t have. When he nearly dies finding out the hard way that some Tolari are as poisonous as their planet, it’s only the beginning of his troubles. A ship has gone missing and his station is in crisis, and Bertie must somehow recover his health and manage the disaster while trying to decide whether to accept genetic modification in order to be with the man he loves.

And no Rembrandt has ever taken a gen mod.

Here is the marvelous cover by Thomas R. Peters:

And to celebrate, we are raffling off a $25 Amazon gift card – sign up by Monday, December 12!
