POP! goes the imagination

I woke up this morning with scenes from a sequel to The Fall running through my head, and I lay in bed for a full hour letting them play out in my mind’s eye. The story will follow a Tolari named Farryn (you’ll find out who he is toward the end of The Fall), who has left Tolar to live among the odalli. I am totally delighted. I’m not going to start on it yet, although I’ve jotted down a bunch of notes and ideas. It all needs time to percolate through my head, and it’s totally different than anything I’ve ever written.

Meanwhile, I need to add some scenes to The Fall, and adjust others, and then I can set it aside and spend serious time on Stranded. I might just need to play hooky and get some of Farryn’s story out on pixels, though. Now and then. Because it’s hella fun to think about. I just love this character!
