Ms. Meierz,

I’m so sorry to read about your hip replacement and hope you are doing better.

I have long wanted to tell you how much I enjoy this series. I just re-read The Marann – again! and am currently re-reading Daughters of Suralia. You have so much talent and I enjoy this world that you made.

I also want to comment that your editor was mistaken about the first chapter, because my favorite book is the original – it is the one that I re-read. I thought the first chapter let you see Marianne in her natural setting, and really helped the reader to get a sense of who she was and how she lived before she was literally uprooted.

If you ever release the book again, I hope you put it out in its original form.

I’m sorry I missed the version that was on Smashwords (it isn’t there any more).

Anyhow, thank you so much for writing this series. I’m enjoying re-reading my way through it, and I hope you make a full recovery soon.
