I’ve been working on The Marann.
My publisher asked me to give it a pass. I approached the file with no small amount of trepidation, because I think I read the thing 137 times before releasing it last October, and I wasn’t anything like eager to make it 138. But I sucked it in and got to work and found that it wasn’t at all a tiresome task.
In fact (she said, rubbing her hands gleefully), it was even fun. I added a scene. I smoothed out the prose.
It’s better now.
I’m going to be giving Daughters of Suralia a pass too, but I don’t expect to make much in the way of changes to that one.
And when I am done with all that I shall get back to work on The Fall. Laura’s story, picking up where Daughters leaves off. I’m hoping to get it to the editor by the end of the summer.
Fun fun fun!
