See that little box over on the right that says Current Work In Progress?

I was happily editing it daily, watching the number go up with a lot of satisfaction, and yesterday, it stopped working. In the editing popup, I can click the Save button until the sun goes down, then rises again, then goes… well, you get the idea. I click the Save button, and nothing happens. Down at the bottom of the window, it says “javascriptvoid(0).”

I’ve tried two different computers with two different operating systems and three different browsers. I’ve tried rebooting. None of that worked. I know for a fact I didn’t change anything — didn’t install or uninstall any software, didn’t change any settings. It worked one day. It didn’t the next.

Windows is like that.

There goes my little motivational thingie. /sigh. Maybe I’ll just post the count? That’s if this post publishes at all. We’ll just have to see when I click the Publish button. But the Preview button works, so maybe the Publish button will.

So if you’re curious, the current wordcount is 60,567. I’m not slacking off, I’m just a little stuck getting from where the plot is to the great glittering plot twist I’m aiming for, so mostly I stare at the last paragraph I wrote, trying to figure out the best way to continue. Sometimes I go back and read the previous chapter and then the current unfinished one, hoping for inspiration (sometimes that works — not this time, though). Stuff like that.
