We have news, yes we do: on May 1, 2024, Histria Books acquired Top of the World Publishing with all of its imprints, including Novus Mundi.

Some cautious optimism is in order here. Histria Books is a traditional publisher with the means to distribute my books to bookstores and libraries in every English-speaking market across the globe.

The fact that Histria is a traditional publisher means that Outcaste‘s release is delayed until November because they require more lead time than a press that uses a print-on-demand model. I will announce the actual release date as soon as I know it. I may have a few early pre-release copies with me at NASFiC in Buffalo in July, though that’s not certain. What’s fairly certain is that Outcaste will be up for pre-order by then. This is a very quick turnaround for a traditional publisher, and I’m pleased we’ll be able to get Outcaste out that quickly.

There are question marks around when the rest of the series will re-release, because there wasn’t time to discuss every detail, but possibly by the end of the summer. One current tentative plan is to release the series as a set for the holidays as well.

That’s all I got for now. I’m sorry for any confusion that may ensue, but I think when everything settles, this will be a good thing for Tolari Space.
